Goals The aim of this course is to develop the students' ability to comprehend and interpret the concept of management, the changes in the perspective of this concept in the historical process, the points where these perspectives differ from each other, and the point that management has reached today. Understanding the various organizational structures and functions of management within organizations is also among the main objectives of the course.
Course Content
Learning Outcomes - To have a good command of the concept and elements of management
- To be able to interpret the changes experienced in the historical development of the field of management together with their causes and consequences.
- To have knowledge and ideas about the scope, meaning and importance of the organization of organizations
- To have knowledge and ideas about the scope of the concept of leadership and the effects of leadership on organizations,
- To be able to explain the factors that shape organizational behavior
- To have knowledge and ideas about communication by understanding the meaning and importance of communication for the organization
- To be able to interpret the issue of organizational change with its reasons, change process and aftermath
- To be able to interpret and discuss cases related to management and organization.
