Under Law No. 5510 on Social Security and General Health Insurance, our Turkish students benefit from General Health Insurance either by working themselves, through their families, by having an income assessment carried out, or by paying the determined amount themselves or through the institution.
International students who apply to the Provincial Directorate of the Social Security Institution within 1 (one) month at the latest from their initial registration can benefit from general health insurance services on the condition of paying the determined amount. After this date, they are required to obtain private health insurance.
