Goals | Introduction to plant disease epidemiology and ecology. Emphasis will be placed on understanding and quantification of plant diseases on a population level, and application of this knowledge to select efficient strategies and tactics of disease management |
Course Content | Elements of an epidemic, the factors affecting on epidemic development, product loss measurement, epidemic models and prediction systems, examples of the prediction of the development of the epidemic. |
