Goals To equip students with knowledge and skills to use epidemiological principles and research methods, to use epidemiological criteria and to apply epidemiological studies to public health.
Course Content Epidemiology; it is a science that helps to determine the distribution and causes of diseases and health problems in both clinical and social sciences, and to determine the appropriate methods for their diagnosis, treatment and prevention, and to teach research techniques.

1 Will be able to explain the distribution of diseases and health conditions in the society by using the relationship between the agent, environment and host.
2 Will be able to adopt the importance of using the epidemiological approach while giving care to the individual and society.
3 Will be able to comprehend the importance of clinical and field observations and record keeping in performing epidemiological studies.
