Goals The aim of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the fundamental concepts, principles, and application areas of business science. This course offers a foundational framework for students in the field of business and management. The General Business course aims to provide students with a general perspective on the business world, preparing them for more advanced courses and potential career paths.
Course Content This course covers fundamental concepts in the field of business and management, departments operating within a business and their functions, as well as generic topics affecting business management, such as leadership, organizational behavior, employee motivation, change management, and crisis management.
Learning Outcomes - Define the concept of business and related fundamental concepts
- Discuss the emergence process and purpose of businesses
- Understand the processes carried out within the functions of a business and grasp the fundamental characteristics of these functions
- Define the concepts of management, manager, and leader, and interpret their importance for businesses
- Be familiar with the steps of organizational change and interpret the importance of innovation management for businesses
- Comprehend the significance of modern business practices for enterprises
- In business management solutions to the problems that will arise in this problem and to analyze ways of being successful
