Goals The aim of this course is to help students understand the emergence of the concept of management and its stages of transformation throughout history, allowing them to view the historical flow leading to strategic management with a holistic perspective, including its causes, effects, and outcomes. Additionally, the course aims to guide students in comprehending the steps of the strategic management process, including collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data; developing alternative strategies; selecting among these strategies; implementing the chosen strategy; and controlling its implementation.
Course Content This course comprehensively examines the historical development of the concept of management, its stages of transformation, and the emergence of strategic management. The course covers the key steps of the strategic management process, including data collection, analysis, developing alternative strategies, strategy selection, implementation, and control. Additionally, theoretical foundations of strategic management are explored alongside practical examples, aiming to enhance students' strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
