Goals Along with the concept of tourism and tourists, the relationship between tourism and the branches of science with which it is related is determined. Scanning information about types of tourism. In particular, the industrial revolution and post-industrial state of tourism are revealed and the factors affecting the development of tourism are examined. The characteristics of tourism supply and demand are determined and the elements that must exist in the tourism region are expressed. To reveal the problems of tourism in Turkey by analyzing its development period by separating it according to years, with the aim of assimilating the dimension of tourism's relationship with the economic, social and physical environment and its effects. Future trends in international tourism are determined and it is aimed to teach how to implement these trends.
Course Content Learning general concepts such as tourism and tourists. To understand the separation of tourism into its types and the basic features of this separation. To be able to understand why tourism has developed in all its systematics. To know the characteristics of tourism supply and demand and to list the parts of the touristic product. Understanding the positive and negative economic effects of tourism and learning the effects of tourism on the environment and society.
