Goals | To improve the ability of abstract thinking, by intensifying the concepts of matrices and determinants and the solutions of systems of linear equations to create the basis for algebra classes. |
Course Content | Matrices, Matrix operations, special type matrices; elementary row and column operations, echelone matrix, elementary matrix and the inverse of a matrix; rank of a matrix; determinant, properties of determinant function; systems of linear equations, solution tecniques (Gauss elimination, Gauss-Jordan reduction method, inverse matrix and Cramer method) |
