Climate
Turkey is a Mediterranean country in the warm climate zone. However, with its variety of natural flora and the mountains that go parallel to the shore, the climate of the country varies from region to region. While the seaside shows the characteristics of a warm climate, the Central Anatolian Plateau receives less precipitation, and, thus, it is colder in winter and hotter in summer. Although, in the region in which Düzce takes place, the summer is hot and the winter is cold, the climate of the city is a transitive one between West Blacksea and Middle Anatolian Climate.
Transport to Düzce University
By airway: Since Düzce is on the junction point between the two metropolitans of Turkey, the transport to the city is easy. By airway, passengers may access to Ankara Esenboğa Airport, Istanbul Atatürk Airport on the European Side and Sabiha Gökçen Airport on the Anatolian Side. After arrival at these airports, a bus to Düzce should be taken from the bus stations in these cities.
The arrival at Düzce University takes 20 minutes from the bus station at the city centre by public transport.
