Internationalisation
Duzce University acknowledges the fact that in order to develop and move on the international platform, it is so important to be in tune with individuals, organizations, cultures, and societies world wide. In that respect, DU takes “internationalization” as an indispensable step to conduct easily transferred studies in research, education and technology.
DU’s point of view about internationalization and the implementation of the long-term goals are set as:
· to make the academic programs of DU as internationally accredited, valid and respectable programs.
· increase the international participation to the courses and programs offered by DU, to expand the international delivery of DU courses and programs,
· to develop the student exchange between DU and universities abroad.
· to facilitate international academic and professional activities
· to promote cross-cultural awareness
In line with all these targets, in order to respond all rapid innovations, concentrations and establish prestigious status with corporation and coordination with international distinguished institutions, organizations in 2011 Duzce University International Relations Office is established. Main purpose of this establishment stems from the need of gathering exchange programmes and projects such as Erasmus, Mevlana, Farabi, European Youth Programs, National and International Projects under a single roof.
DU creates new opportunities for all the beneficiaries by building up strong ties with distinguished universities abroad in terms of student and faculty exchange, joint research and scientific studies.
