Goals This course aims to examine prenatal development, infancy, early childhood, middle childhood, and late childhood within the framework of related theories from a lifespan development perspective. In this context, prenatal development, infancy, early childhood, middle and late childhood, and development according to related theories are analyzed.
Course Content This course covers the basic concepts of developmental psychology and the lifespan development approach. Within the course, prenatal development, infancy, early childhood, middle childhood, and late childhood are examined in terms of physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. In addition, the major theories explaining development are evaluated.
