Goals To enable the graduate student to examine fundamental and current topics in their field of specialization in depth; to develop skills in literature review related to the thesis topic, establishing hypotheses, determining scientific research methods, and academic reporting within the framework of ethical rules.
Course Content Fundamental concepts and theoretical approaches in the field of specialization; comprehensive literature analysis specific to the thesis topic; definition of the research problem; selection of data collection and analysis methods; scientific writing techniques and publication ethics; current technological developments and debates in the specialization field.
Learning Outcomes
# Öğrenme Kazanımı
1 Systematically reviews national and international literature related to the field of specialization, synthesizes existing information, and correlates it with the thesis topic.
2 Identifies an unresolved problem in the specified field of specialization and develops scientifically-based hypotheses for its solution.
3 Comprehends the theoretical background of molecular, cytogenetic, or bioinformatic methods to be used in the thesis study and selects appropriate analysis techniques.
4 Ensures full compliance with academic ethical principles, biosafety rules, and legal regulations during the planning and data collection stages of scientific research.
5 Reports research processes and preliminary findings in accordance with academic writing rules and defends them orally in a scientific language.
