Goals Teaching the necessary and sufficient knowledge, skills and attitudes to support the mentally healthy development of infants, children and adolescents in the family and society, to differentiate, to treat and prevent the symptoms of mental illness that occur with problems specific to normal developmental periods and developmental crises.

Learning Outcomes
# Öğrenme Kazanımı
1 It carries out systematic evaluation for patients who apply to the Psychiatry Clinic with all kinds of complaints, takes a focused history, performs a physical examination, lists the differential diagnosis, requests and interprets the necessary tests, provides emergency treatments, implements interventions and makes appropriate referrals and treatment plans.
2 Explains the basic principles of evidence-based psychiatric practice.
3 Explain and apply the basic principles of recognition, treatment and management of the aggressive patient in psychiatry.
4 Explains legal responsibilities and keeps records for all patients admitted to the Psychiatric Clinic.
5 Recognizes patients who need to be evaluated as forensic cases and defines the necessary legal procedures.
6 Defines the conditions affecting public health for all patients applying to the Psychiatry Clinic and provides education to patients and their relatives.
