Goals The aim of the course is to get the students acquainted with the description of bacteriocins and properties, application areas, purification and characterization of bacteriocins.
Course Content 1. To learn general information about the bacteriocins 2. To learn presence of alternatively antimicrobial molecules 3. To learn the mode of action of bacteriocins and synthesized 4. To learn application of bacteriocins in industrial areas 5. To learn the relation between probiotic bacteria and bacteriocins 6. To learn the importance of bacteriocins in daily life 7. To be knowledgeable about location in the literature of bacteriocins 8. To learn purification and characterization of bacteriocins 9. To be knowledgeable about the biotechnological methods
