Goals The Career Planning course aims to help students familiarise themselves with the business world, various sectors and the requirements of these sectors; it also seeks to raise students’ awareness of the importance of career planning as part of their preparation for the world of work. The course helps students discover their personal competencies and gain a proper understanding of the expectations of the business world; it assists them in developing their knowledge and skills in a way that aligns with the requirements of the relevant sectors.
Course Content 1. Raising Awareness of Career Centre Activities. 2. Enhancing Self-Awareness. 3. Exploring Career Options. 4. Developing Self-Expression and Effective Communication Skills. 5. Understanding the Importance of Professional Networks. 6. Familiarisation with Support Services. 7. Learning Effective Use of Resources.
