Goals To teach basic chemistry information such as the structure of matter, elements, chemical reactions, solution preparation and chemical calculations.
Course Content Understands the place and importance of chemistry in biology. - Understands the structure of the atom, matter and its characteristic properties. - Learns chemical terms and formulas. - Understands the periodic table, atomic electron structure and chemical bonds. - Learns basic chemical laws, atomic and molecular weight calculations. -Learns problem solving, solution preparation and concentration determination.
