Goals To learn the metabolic processes and their molecules in living organisms during energy production. To examine metabolic processes and their control mechanisms.
Course Content the metabolic events functioning in living systems and control mechanisms, carbohydrate metabolism, glycolysis, gluconeogenesis, glikoksalat cycle, TCA cycle, pentose phosphate pathway, the ETS system, oxidative phosphorylation, ATP synthesis, lipid metabolism, fatty acid oxidation, glycogen biosynthesis, Vitamins.

2 Can evaluate the formation of metabolic processes and their impact on energy production from a biochemical perspective

5 Evaluate the biological processes based on physical, chemical and mathematical basics.
6 Understands and can explain the functions of macro- and micromolecules in biochemical processes
