Goals The aim of the histology course is to enable students to understand the structure, morphology, and functions of cells and tissues within the organism, and to teach them to identify and evaluate tissues using microscopic examination and basic histological techniques.
Course Content Definition and classification of tissues, epithelial tissue, epithelium tissue classification, glandular epithelium, exocrine and endocrine glands. Connective tissue and variations, fibrils and cells, adipose tissue, blood tissue, blood cells, cartilage, cartilage tissue types, bone tissue and samples, bone marrow production of blood, muscle tissue and types, nerve tissue, central and peripheral nervous system.

1 Explains the fundamental concepts, terminology, and organizational principles at the cellular and tissue level in histology.
2 Evaluates and compares the basic tissue types (epithelial, connective, muscle, and nervous) in terms of their histological characteristics.
3 Identifies cell and tissue samples using microscopic examination methods.
4 Relates and discusses the histological structure of organs and systems with their physiological functions.
