Goals The aim of this course is to enable prospective teachers to learn the theoretical foundations of teaching foreign languages to children, age-appropriate teaching methods and techniques, and to develop effective classroom practices.
Course Content This course covers the theoretical foundations of teaching foreign languages to children, early language acquisition processes, and teaching approaches appropriate to children's cognitive, affective, and social characteristics. The course includes the use of age-appropriate techniques such as games, songs, stories, and visual materials, as well as classroom management, material development, and technology-supported language teaching. Additionally, it focuses on activity design and assessment processes for young learners.
