Goals The aim of the course for pre-service science teachers to understand the basic concepts related to the subject and especially to gain the ability to interpret environmental problems. To be able to understand the flow of energy in nature. To be able to explain common life forms. To be able to explain the results of population growth and erosion. To be able to explain the causes of environmental pollution and protection efforts. To explain what needs to be done for a sustainable world.
Course Content Basic ecological concepts and principles, Ecosystems, Nutriment chains, Nutriment network, Habitat, Competition; Associate life and mutualist life, Continuation of life, Ground Biomes; Energy Flow; Circulation of matter; Incensement of population; Ecological affect, Erosion, Vanishing of forests; Urban environments, Impurity of behavior, Environmental pollution, Bog and waste-water, Reaction of sensitive people; Decision making about environment; Resources of Ground and Water and their management, Conservation; Culture and Primitive Life; Global view; Ecological subjects and problems; Environmental sensitivity and related works in the world, institutions and organizations.
