Goals The purpose of this course is to teach scientific reasoning and its characteristics and its relationship with science achievement to pre-service science teachers.
Course Content 1 Students will be able to define scientific reasoning’ characteristics.; 2 Students will be able to determine dependent and independent variables.; 3 Students will be able to explain the relationship between scientific reasoning’ characteristics and science achievement; 4 Students will be able to explain scientific reasoning with predict-observe-explain (POE) method.; 5 Students will be able to develop activities accelarating cognitive enhancement through science education.
