Goals To gain knowledge about chemical reactions. To ensure that the events in our lives can be examined from the perspective of chemistry and to teach how we can benefit from the science of chemistry in solving problems.
Course Content Knows and applies the rules to be followed in the laboratory Defines and interprets the kinetics of chemical reactions. - Define the properties of alkali, alkaline earth metals, nonmetals and noble gases. - Will be able to define acid and base, can define hydrolysis and solubility balances. - Have knowledge about chemical thermodynamics such as entropy, enthalpy and internal energy changes and can solve related problems. - Can determine how various effects change the value of chemical equilibrium and equilibrium constant. - Expresses metals and their general properties. - Expresses nonmetals and their general properties. - Compares electrochemistry, electrolysis phenomena and working principles of batteries.
