Goals With this course, the student will be able to apply land surveying techniques and basic calculations required in the profession.
Course Content To be able to comprehend the professional relations and applications of zoning and urbanism issues, To be able to make installation and adjustment operations of land surveying tools, Coordinate systems and different applications To be able to make appropriate methods of height measurements, To be able to make takeometric measurements and calculations To be able to comprehend the technique and purpose of the global positioning method, To be able to calculate the area and volume of excavation and filling by using the measurements made in the field, To be able to make land profiling by using the obtained measurement results. To be able to comprehend the techniques and application methods of geographic information systems.
