Goals Being able to understand the basic drawing principles of technical drawing. Ability to draw any surface and geometric shape. Ability to measure drawings of two-dimensional shapes and three-dimensional objects. Ability to draw shapes from given dimensions. Ability to read technical drawings.
Course Content The place and importance of technical drawing in the industry, the use of drawing tools, standard writing and numbers, lines and their types, making geometric drawings, drawing views, basic views and their types, the definition and importance of sectioning, section lines and angles, scanning principles, types of sections and applications, dimensioning rules, dimensioning applications.
Learning Outcomes - Can define the basic rules of technical drawing, line types and the places where they are used, and use them appropriately.
- Geometric shapes can be seen and drawn.
-  Can draw the appearance of objects given their perspective.
- Can draw to scale.
- Can draw detailed sectional views of objects.
