Goals | To learn the structure and function of hereditary materials. To comprehend the steps of the period of inheritance of the information from gene to protein. |
Course Content | Genes, genes genome, gene number, repeats, gene families, mutagens, mutation, repair mechanisms, Protein Synthesis, Using the genetic code, the operon, transposons, oncogenes, cancer, cell cycle, methods in molecular genetic studies. |
