Goals To teach the biology of poisonous fish and the poisonous fish species found in the ichthyofauna of Türkiye.

Learning Outcomes - To able to recognize poisonous fish groups and poisonous fish families distributed in Turkey.
- To learn the biology of the main poisonous fish families distributed in Turkey
- To able to distinguish Phanerotoxic (Venomous) and Cryptotoxic (Poisonous) fish
- To learn the chemistry, pharmacology and toxicology of poisons secreted from the poison organs of phanerotoxic fish.
- To learn the effect mechanisms of cryptotoxic fish Cryptotoksik balıkların etki mekanizmalarını öğrenir
