Goals This instruction aims to teach methods of cytogenetics and to use this methods in various application scope
Course Content Defining the molecular organization of the chromosome, karyotype analysis from a variety of plants and animal cells, Explaining different methods of in vivo and in vitro cytogenetic investigations.
Learning Outcomes - To comprehend fundamental knowledge of cytogenetic
- To evaluate with cytogenetic methods knowledge about cytology and genetics
- To own knowledge about morphologic properties and number, size of chromosomes
- To prepare karyotype and idiogram
- To learn the most suitable methods for chromosome observation
- To make statistical evaluation concern with mitotic index and chromosome abnormalities
- To gain oral and written communication skills
