Goals The aim of this course is to teach the different nematode groups (Parasitic, foretic or free living etc.), nematode isolation and identification methods.
Course Content Nematodes, Plant parasitic nematodes, Animal parasitic nematodes, Insect associated nematod, Beneficial nematodes, Nematode isolation methods, Nematode preparation methods, Morphological identification methods, Molecular identification methods
Learning Outcomes - After completing this course, different types of nematodes such as free living, plant pathogenic, parasitic on animals, insects, plants, teaching nematode isolation from their habitats, preparing the permanent slides, learning morphometric and molecular analyses will be learned to the students.
