Goals Acquiring information about past agricultural practices and crops. Understanding ancient societies' dietary habits through plant remains. Providing information about plant diversity, species distribution, and plant communities in ancient times. Understanding the environmental interactions of ancient societies and analyzing human-plant interactions.
Course Content Archaeobotanical studies provide a comprehensive approach by merging the disciplines of archaeology and botany to understand the relationships between past humans and the plant world.
