Course Content | Committee 1: LOCOMOTOR SYSTEM and GENERAL EMBRYOLOGY COURSE COMMITTEE • To learn issues about general information of muscule and nervous system, definition of synapses, synaptic post, synapses electrical phenomena, refleks arc, strecth reflex, autonomic nervous system, neuromuscular junction and neuromuscular post, electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction velocity, physiology of taste and smell • To learn issues introduction to microbiology, history and classification, structure and morphology of bacteria, physiology and reproduction of bacteria, microbial genetics, materials and equipment used in microbiology, medium and paints, sterilization and disinfection, antimicrobials and susceptibility tests, the host-parasite relationship, the normal flora,introduction to immunology and antigen, organs and cells involved in immune response, immune response mechanisms, immunoglobulins, natural resistance mechanisms, complement, hypersensitivity reactions, in vitro antigen-antibody reactions and immunological diagnostic methods • To learn introduction to human embryology, sperm morphology and evolution, morphology and development of ovum, genital cycle, the disc Introduction to the physiology of blood, white blood cell functions, erythrocytes, erythropoiesis and erythropoietin, metabolism of erythrosytes, blood groups, rh and abo incompatibilities, blood group determination, Hb and Htc, introduction to the immune system, cellular and humoral immunity, the erythrocyte count, hemostasis and disorders, plasma proteins, cardiac muscle, cardiac pump, leukocyte count, sedimentation rate, rhythmic stimulation of the heart, the heart cycle, normal ecg and vectorcardiogram, taking ecg recording and interpretation, abnormal heart rhythms and
