Goals To learn the basic concepts of microorganisms, their metabolism, and life cycle. To learn the relationship of microorganisms with each other, and with their environment together with their effect on human health.
Course Content History of Microbiology, microorganisms overview; microorganism studying techniques, sterilization and asepsis; Bacterial cell structure and function, microbial growth, reproduction, measuring microbial reproduction, effects of the microorganism; Microbial Metabolism and the use of microorganisms, culture, bacterial chromosomes and plasmids
