Goals The main objective of this course is to give histological structures of animal tissues, their cellular and molecular features.
Course Content Definition and classification of tissues, epithelial tissue, epithelium tissue classification, glandular epithelium, exocrine and endocrine glands. Connective tissue and variations, fibrils and cells, adipose tissue, blood tissue, blood cells, cartilage, cartilage tissue types, bone tissue and samples, bone marrow production of blood, muscle tissue and types, nerve tissue, central and peripheral nervous system.
Learning Outcomes - After completing the course, the students should be able to:1) Know the description of tissue and classification of the tissues
- Identify different tissue types (Epitellium, connective tissue, adipose tissue, blood tissue, cartilage, bone, muscular tissue, nerve)
- Examine the permanent slides of the tissues in laboratory studies.
