Goals Metal and alloys, heat treatment provide an understanding of the relationships in the structure and mechanical properties.
Course Content Steels of alloying elements, the effects of phase diagrams and thermal processes, the basic heat treatment operations, the surface hardening processes, recrystallization, aging, heat treatment of tool steels, heat treatment of industrial alloys.
Learning Outcomes - To design the thermal processing of metals and alloys, heat treatment designed microstructure and mechanical properties of the Application and the old understanding of the relationship.
