Goals How to use remote sensing in forestry.
Course Content Introduction to remote sensing, basics and components of remote sensing, data sources, Electromagnetic spectrum, aerial photos and films, gliding and covering ratios of aerial photos, planning of flying time, 3D views and effective area in aerial photos, photo interpretation, certain measurements over aerial photos, satellites, resolution in satellite images,Pretreatment of images, processing of images and classifications of images, data modification and analysis
Learning Outcomes - The development and basics of remote sensing, aerial photographs, electro-magnetic spectrum.
- Sensing systems, satellites, satellite for research of natural resources , applications of satellite-views in forestry
- Be able to classify land use from satellite images
- They will have information about Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Close Range Photogrammetry
- Be able to take images by making flight plans
- Be able to produce Orthoimage and Digital Terrain Mode
