Goals To have knowledge about the basic concepts of toxicology, toxicity mechanisms, systemic toxic effects and toxic effects of xenobiotics on biological systems

Learning Outcomes - 1. To comprehend the basic concepts and principles of toxicology. 2. To learn the toxicokinetics and toxicological mechanisms of drugs, other chemicals, and physical agents 3. To learn general treatment principles and specific antidotes in the poisoning xenobiotics. 4. To learn about specific toxicological effects and toxicological consequences of genetic polymorphism 5. To have knowledge about the genotoxic factors and their mechanisms caused by xenobiotics. 6. To have knowledge about teratogenicity and teratogenic compounds 7. To learn and interpret the toxicological tests 8. To gain awareness about the risks of environmental and occupational exposures.
