Goals To learn the officinal prescription samples of suspension, emulsion, cleavage and suppository dosage forms, to learn the surface tension, rheological properties, determination of sedimentation rate in osmosis and suppository pouches and to study the efficacy of active substances in the preparation of different prescriptions it is to learn.
Course Content Suspensions, Emulsions, Controls on emulsions, Liniments, Semi-solid preparations (Ointment, Pat), Semi-solid preparations (Gel, Y/S and S/Y Cream), Suppositories, Ovules, Examination of some properties of different ointment bases and investigation of drug release from ointments, In vitro investigation of drug release from suppositories, Cosmetic preparations
