Goals To acquire knowledge about dispers systems, semi-solids and cosmetic preparations together with excipients used in the preparations of these dosage forms and production methods and quality control methods
Course Content Dispers systems, Surface tension and determination methods, Liquid crystals and adsorption theory, Rheological properties, Suspensions, Emulsions, Semisolids,Suppositories and ovules,Cosmetic preparations
Learning Outcomes - Learns colloids and multiphase pharmaceutical systems, their production and their controls
- Has knowledge about adsorption and pharmaceutical evaluations
- Knows the rheology and pharmaceutical evaluations
- Learns the production and pharmaceutical evaluations of disperse systems
- Has information about semi-solid drug forms
- Learns suppository and ovules
- Knows cosmetics and their uses
- Acquires the ability to research and prepare prescriptions for the subjects of this semester
