Goals The goal of this course is to provide a fundamental knowledge in organic chemistry. This aim will provide to develop a base of understanding of the pharmacologically active organic structures.
Course Content
Learning Outcomes - Define organic chemistry and basic concepts of organic chemistry
- Write formations and reactions of organic molecules and their usage in synthesis of biological active organic substances
- Write determination of organic structures and their presentation at scientific level by using the gained organic chemistry knowledge
- Draw and write the common heterocyclic structures that generally seen in the drug molecules
- Evaluate the events in living things with the help of the gained knowledge and skills
- Gain knowledge about researching on recent scientific topics by using scientific sources, the oral or written presentation ability of the resultsThey learn the effects of diseases on drug metabolism
