Goals The aim of this course is to provide students with general knowledge about general cell biology and basic molecular biology and human genetics.
Course Content
Learning Outcomes - Explain the structure of the molecules that make up the cell.
- Explain the structures and functions of the organelles that make up the cell.
- Explain DNA, RNA and protein structures and synthesis.
- Explains genetic disorders and repair mechanisms.
- Explains the molecular mechanisms of diseases and problems related to a single gene and many factors
- Explains the medical uses of molecular biology techniques and biotechnology
- Explains the possibilities of using molecular biology and genetic information in the prevention and treatment of diseases.
- Discusses the ethical application of molecular biology and genetics in the medical field.
