Goals The main purpose of Botany is having some basic information on plant cell, plant tissue, metobolic events, plant morphology and plant systematics.
Course Content Botany and its importance. Structure of cells, tissues and organs in plants. Structure and functions of vegetative (root, stem, leaf) and reproductive (flower, fruit, seed) organs. Reproduction and reproduction. Physiology of metabolism in plants, growth and development of plants.
Learning Outcomes - having some basic information on organic compounds, plant and organells, cell division and plant tissue
- acknowledgment of basic metabolic events in a plant cell
- Recognition of the vegetative and generative organs of a plant
- Classification of plant plants
