Goals To teach students the history of the Republic of Turkey.
Course Content Atatürk's reforms, Atatürk Period Turkish Foreign Policy, Ataturk's principles, political developments in Turkey and in the world after 1938
Learning Outcomes - List the revolutions that took place after the Republic.
- The Şeyh Said rebellion against the Republic can distinguish such issues as the assassination of Izmir.
- Summarize the process of transition to multi-party life.
- Multiparty life can explain reasons for transition and its consequences.
