Goals To the students who receive bachelor education, it is aimed to give general principles of agronomy,to teach them field cropss (grain, edible legumes, industral plants, foodder plants) to introduce and to learn the principles of growness and to have knowledge about this and is to express the importance of it in our country and world.
Course Content Grains (Cool climate Grains), Grains (Hot climate Grains), Industrial plants (Cotton, Potato, Sugerbeet), Industrial plants (Sunflower, Brasica, Soya and Tobacco), Edible legumes, Forage Crops (Leguminous Forage Crops), Forage Crops(Grass Forage Crops.
Learning Outcomes - The students, who are succesful in the course, will have knowledge about general principles and methods of field crops
- The students will know the importace and place of field cultivation
- To learn the botanics,ecologgy, physiology and biochemistry of field crops
- To learn industrial crops and food legumes
- To have knowledge on cereals, pastures and fodder plants
- They can discuss problems and solutions of field crops productions
- During the course period, it performs the planting process of a field crops practically and performs the plant feeding operations and controls its development.
