Goals Developmental themes and theoretical perspectives on child development, learning, research methods of child psychology
Course Content The relation of Educational-psychology, description and functions of educational psychology; major concepts and theories in psychology and development (physical, cognitive, emotional, social, personality and moral), the different approaches of learning and their implications in education, understand the individual differences, abilities, and their effects in motivation.
Learning Outcomes - Explain the relationship of education and psychology.
- Identify and describe the functions of educational psychology
- Understand the importance of development and learning psychology
- Understand the main concepts and theories in the areas of learning and development (psychomotor, cognitive, emotional, social, personal and moral)
- Explain the factors that affecting learning and development.
- Explain the different learning approaches
- Evaluate how to take advantage of the findings obtained from developmental and educational psychology by taking into account individual differences.
