Goals The main objective of this course is to enable students to define and comprehend human behavior both as an individual and as a part of society and to internalize the reflections of these behaviors on business life.
Course Content Basic concepts related to behavioral sciences, relationship with other branches of science, systems explaining behavioral sciences, power and authority, acceptance theory, personality and theories, perception, social perception and attribution theory, social influence and research, motivation, motivation theories, leadership, political behavior, political skill, group concept and formation of groups, organizational culture and its formation.
Learning Outcomes - To define the concepts related to behavioral sciences
- Understanding the impact of power and authority on behavior from an acceptance theory perspective
- To explain the relationship between social perception and perception process and behavior
- To understand the causes of human behaviors that differ according to personality structures and to examine their consequences
- Understand motivation and explain why and how people can be motivated
- Understanding leadership behavior and evaluating its impact on behavior
- To discuss the impact of political behavior and political competence on behavior
- Examine and comprehend the formation of groups
- To gain knowledge about how organizational culture is formed
