| Course Content | Review of microeconomics (Supply, demand, equilibrium, elasticity, market models etc.), Business management-I: Basic concepts of BM; functions, capacity and size of a business, Business management-II: Incomes and costs in a business enterprise , Business management-III : Business rationality criteria; criteria in evaluation of investment projects, Forestry and Forest business; type of Forest enterprises by legal status and ownership; comparison of forest and agricultural enterprises, Functions, capacity and size (scale) of forest enterprises, Rationality criteria and their application in forest business, Cost management in forest enterprises, Production management in forest enterprises, Incomes of a forest business; financing a forest business; principles of forest accounting., Marketing process in forest business, Introduction to forest valuation; calculation of damages and compensation, Measuring economic and financial success and performance in forest enterprises |
