Goals | The aim of the course is to equip students with basic communicative skills in English so that they can deal with daily situations like introducing themselves, talking about their tastes, describing their jobs, routines, talking about what they are doing now and what happened in the past, and respond to the written or oral situations about those and similar topics at the level of A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). |

- At the end of this term, students will be able to; 1. interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is eager to help 2. communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine topics 3. know and be able to use some basic grammatical structures, words and phrases, numbers and so on in everyday life situations 4. understand some basic texts like stories, letters, emails, short articles, interviews, web pages, etc. and answer questions about them 5. fill in some forms like surveys, job applications and write some personal emails to a friend and their families |
