Goals | The course objectives are; to know the basic concepts related to measurement and evaluation, to use the basic statistical techniques, to determine the validity and reliability of the measurement tools, to know the measurement tools used in measuring cognitive, affective and psycho-motor behaviors, to know the stages of test development and to make item and test analysis on apllication results, to know the alternative assesment tecniques. |
Course Content | Measuring and evaluation concepts, basic statistical techniques, reliability and validity comparison of measurement, objective analysis and content table, test development, exam types and question writing, written and oral exams, short answer and true-false tests, multiple choice and matching tests, evaluation of student achievement, alternative assessments. |
