Goals At the end of the course students, become skilful at effective listening and correct pronunciation in the target language by learning the functions of body organs that are essential for the correct production of vowels and consonants.

Learning Outcomes - Takes responsibilities as an individual and a team member to solve unforeseen problems of the applications in English language teaching, and develops his/her occupational knowledge and skills continually.
- Knows national and international cultural elements that may affect applications of English language teaching.
- Evaluates the role of learners? language skills on language learning.
- Uses information technologies effectively in both planning teaching and learning process considering the features of teaching-learning process, learners? developmental stages, individual differences, and subject area.
- Prepares appropriate educational environments for maximum learning considering learners? individual, social, and cultural differences, particular interests and needs, and develop appropriate learning materials for effective teaching-learning process.
- Uses appropriate methods and techniques to develop critical thinking, creative thinking and problem-solving skills, and uses English language effectively.
- Pursues the developments of learners by means of different kinds of assessment and evaluation methods and techniques.
- Shares his/her thoughts and solution offers related to teaching area in a written and oral way.
- Behaves according to the regulations that define his/her duties, rights and responsibilities related to his/her occupation, democracy, human rights, and social, scientific, cultural values and occupational ethical principles.
