The graduates of Industrial Molding Program will be
the leading power of this sector with their high level and contemporary
trainings. By having gained the required knowledge and competences on the
design and manufacturing of moldings, having got the original designing and
productive skills, knowing how to manufacture and having been trained on
advanced manufacturing techniques (CAM-CNC), having practiced in molding
through apprenticeship, and being able to use the advanced designing tools (CAD
software), the graduates of the program will meet the needs of the field.
In addition to these, the graduates will gain experience on molding
analysis and simulations by attending hi-tech seminars, and as a result, they
come to higher positions. Current manufacturing techniques which are used to
manufacture moulds, such as CNC, are one of the subject areas that the students
gain competence on.
To increase our students’ quality of education, to
train technicians in the standards of our country, and re-shape educational
activities in accordance, to search and increase the opportunities for practice
and apprenticeship, several attempts for the cooperation of industry and
education are carried out with the firms listed below:
1- Standart Profil
2- Teknorot
3- Çelik Halat
4- Erciyas Boru
5- Ümran Boru Fabrikası
6- Süperlit Boru Fabrikası
7- İTO kilit
8- Anlaş Lastik
It The graduates of industrial molding can have job and apprenticeship opportunities in the sectors mentioned below. Some of these are automotive sectors, precision casting, metal casting, steel casting, marketing of molding consumables and the firms with research and development laboratories. In addition, employment choices and job opportunities for the graduates are increasing.
Make contribution to the qualified trained labour force which is the requirement of our country’s technology, industrial molding design and manufacturing sectors, raise students who are knowledgeable and from whom the efficient is immediately got in the business environments.
To graduate our students as industrial molding design and manufacturing technical personnel who can be immediately employed in the national and international institutions and organizations, and having high level application skills.
The
purpose of the Industrial Molding Program to train technical staff for mold
industry. The technical staff is knowledgeable about technical drawing,
machining, mold manufacturing. They can design molds with computer aided mold
design programmes. They know principles of operation of the basic machinery and
equipment like CNC machines, various presses.
