Programs have students with the academic staff is working to give the best possible service . Courses which are directed towards the needs of industry , supplemented with computer labs are conducted in modern classrooms . Also in the curriculum of all transport modes ( road, sea , rail, air and inland waterway transport) have content related to the current developments supported by continuous , there are lessons for the sector . Logistics in the 30-day internship program the students currently in the process of education and professional qualifications in the market to ensure the adaptation of running are increasing .

Program Educational Objectives (PEA)

PEA1: To provide a strong theoretical and practical knowledge base in the field of logistics and supply chain management.

PEA2: To train qualified intermediate personnel with strong communication skills, ethical values, and effective technology use, as needed by the sector.

By emphasizing the principles of sustainability and social contribution in our education and research activities, we aim to train our graduates to be preferred, respected, empathetic, effective communicators, and individuals with a culture of continuous learning and collaboration at national and international levels.

Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded an Associate Degree in Logistics.

It is a program that provides associate degree education.

The admissions of students to the programs are made according to the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM – University entrance exam) within the framework set by the regulations of Higher Education Council (HEC). After students inform the Student Selection and Placement Center about what programs they want to study at, students are placed in the related programs according to their scores they got from the exam. Graduates of related vocational high schools can enroll in the department within the framework set by the regulations of Higher Education Council (HEC).

Foreign students are admitted to the related programs with the scores of internationally acceptable exams such as SAT, ACT or are admitted to the related programs with their high school graduation grades (Undergraduate and Graduate Programs for Foreign Students Admission Guidelines).

The admission of students of General Academic Exchange Protocol to the related programs are done within the framework of the bilateral agreements (ERASMUS, FARABI, etc) signed between Duzce University and the partner universities. Guest students may enroll into the courses in this program, if the related academic unit approves. Sufficient language knowledge is required to monitor the program.

To complete the available courses in the program (a total of 122 ECTS) successfully, the students have to get at least 50 points out of 100 and required to achieve 2.00 on a 4.00 weighted grade point average. To graduate from the programs students should get at least DD in all of the courses provided.Students are also required to complete the compulsory practice in the specified time.

Students enrolled in DU might be exempted from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. A student can be exempted from a certain course provided related course content previously received from another institution complies with that of DU, which is subject to approval and verification by the Board of faculty/graduate school/school.

Recognition of Education Abroad

DU recognises academic terms and courses studied by a student that has been involved in an exchange programme for one or two terms at the universities with which a partnership was established.

Students that are selected to avail themselves of Student Mobility for Studies under ERASMUS are obliged to draw up an education agreement with relevant ERASMUS Unit Coordination prior to the mobility term. The education agreement demonstrates the courses to be studied at the partner university the student intends to go, as well as appropriate ECTS credits.

In addition to this, students shall be asked to issue a Recognition Sheet, which refers to the equivalent of foreign courses in DU, so that the credit transfer is planned and approved.

At the end of the exchange term, the courses studied abroad are recorded and demonstrated in the transcript, together with the original course codes and names and ECTS credits. Pursuant to ERASMUS Programme and Collaboration Agreements concluded thereunto, official transcripts will quote, an abbreviation signal of ET, European Transfer, for the courses studied abroad.

Our graduates manufacturing businesses within the logistics , purchasing , production and marketing departments of retail businesses purchase and distribution working in the departments as they can be , to companies outside offering support logistics companies can operate with the company as an intermediary between the roles undertaken and counseling can make your own company by establishing market independently can enter . That all kinds of people and transport of goods by air, land , sea and rail carriers , airports , ports, can be served in cargo business . Also providing consultancy and training services in logistics organizations, universities and research institutions in the logistics department , Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ministry, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Customs and Trade , and can work in public institutions such as municipalities .
Students successfully completing this program , Logistics Associate degree ( Associate Degree ) are entitled to receive . Champions are determined by HEC as lojistisy .

Students who graduate from this program, in accordance with the rules established, can continue their degree program.

Logistics Program, 93 and 122 ECTS credits are arranged to be local.
Program in Higher Education Law and the Common Core Courses in English with other public courses determined by the University Senate is located.
Logistics Program students are required to do an internship to 30 business days. Student internships, field related public institutions and organizations and the private sector can do.

To graduate from the Logistics Program, students must complete a total of 120 national credits (ECTS credits), with 30 credits per semester. The Logistics Program lasts 2 years and consists of 4 semesters. Students must attend and successfully complete all courses in the curriculum and complete all work required by the Regulations and other relevant legislation. Additionally, students must successfully complete 70 working days of on-the-job vocational training. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.00 and have completed all other required work.
